We have installed and serviced hundreds of garage doors in Springfield, Missouri, and the surrounding rural communities. Our history of serving the Ozarks spans about four decades. Our origin story
In 1987, James Overholt founded Overholt Overhead Door in Seymour, Missouri, and operated it with his son for many years. Brian Knepp purchased the company in 2012, rebranding it as Quality Overhead Door LLC. Brian employs a loyal crew of craftsmen, and his son recently joined the team. James Overholt still works part-time for the company he founded!
We maintain lower overhead costs (no pun intended) than the big brands. We don’t have a fancy showroom in Springfield. We operate from our warehouse in Seymour, Missouri. This location near Hwy 60 allows us to serve clients to the west in Springfield, all the way east to West Plains, plus communities to the north in Marshfield and as far south as Kimberling City, Missouri.
We maintain proper business liability insurance. Permits, business licenses, and building inspections are typically not needed for door installations.
Our process
We make pricing, ordering, and installing garage doors and overhead doors easy.
- Call us. We’ll gather the project info over the phone and give you some basic options. If you like what you hear, we’ll schedule an on-site visit.
- Free in-person evaluation. We will measure the door to ensure accuracy and identify any concerns or opportunities for improvement.
- Free quote. We will walk you through all your options and provide a competitive price.
- Order: Once you approve the project, we’ll contact our manufacturing partners to place your order for customized garage door panels, tracks, motors, and other accessories. (Typically arrive in three or four weeks.)
- Installation. We will schedule a day for our experts to install your new garage door system. We test everything, show you how to use it, haul away the old door for recycling, and clean up any messes before we leave. Residential systems are installed in one day. Larger commercial projects might take multiple days.
